We (Harish & Kanchana Pai) are natives to Manipal, Udupi and a professional Heritage Conservation architecture team. With over 2 decades as a married couple we have been blessed to work on some amazing vernacular architecture projects. In order to share our reverence, awe and passion for this heritage we have created 'Svarna' at our workshop base near the river on a beautiful family owned location. We welcome you, our guests to come experience a piece of history with us and share your story.
Our homestay offers not just a stay, but an experience. With the soothing sound of the river nearby and a goshale (cattle shelter) on the premises, you’ll feel a deep connection to nature.
We take pride in providing a pure vegetarian menu for lunch and dinner, offering delicious and wholesome meals prepared with love.
The property consists of five cozy rooms, each designed to ensure your comfort and relaxation. Located just 15 minutes away from the famous Udupi Krishna Temple, our homestay is the perfect blend of peaceful retreat and spiritual proximity.
